Artist Thomas Mailaender and students from ECAL's Bachelor Photography program explore the ruins of Corso, a disused nightclub in downtown Renens, with the intention of reviving it.
In 1992, an explosion put an abrupt end to Le Corso's activities. The building was demolished, and the remains of the nightclub have since slumbered in silence, darkness and humidity beneath the square laid out on its site.
Between archaeology, documentary research and creative speculation, the group of adventurers offers an exhibition journey between mold and glitter, ashes and glamour.
