Ryo Katayama – Corner Urinal
Corner urinals do not require partitioning but can protect privacy and reduce urine splashing. By standing at an angle, the field of vision between neighbours does not overlap and privacy is protected, so people do not need to have partitions. In addition, hitting the urinal surface at an angle reduces splashing. The urinal’s opening is oriented towards the entrance to create a smooth flow of people. Furthermore, there is no need for partitions, which allows for more space.
