The students of each Master's program undertake a "Grand Voyage" to discover the territory of a filmmaker. In 2012, they went to Lisbon with the director Teresa Villaverde and the sound engineer Vasco Pimentel.
During two weeks of complete immersion, the students went to meet these filmmakers and their territory. In places they have often filmed, the neighborhoods of Intendente and Moraria, Teresa Villaverde and Vasco Pimentel explained their working method, from the location scouting to the first shootings. They also discussed the different technical constraints inherent to filming (sound, image).
The students worked as a team in these neighborhoods, sketching a story in "real life" situations. These films were entirely shot, edited and presented on location.
