The idea behind this project is to bring together the world of graphic design and clockmaking through typographical design: to create letters specifically for the watch face and the circle that is defined by the hands. The aim is to give movement to the face through letters. Each number is drawn as a symbol according to its position and the angle corresponding to its individual line. Any chosen face can then be adapted to each complications. To conclude, this project enabled me to focus on the art of detail and the graphic designer’s status in the world of clock-making.
