An academic network dedicated to sport, SMART MOVE aims to strengthen the Lake Geneva region, and in particular the Canton of Vaud, in its role as an international academic reference in the field of sport. Since 2018, it has promoted the emergence of cross-disciplinary projects between ECAL and nine higher education institutions, including EPFL, UNIL, CHUV, HEIG-VD, HESAV, EHL, HEPVD and UNIGE.
The aim of the network is to promote the development of innovative, interdisciplinary projects involving researchers and students from universities, as well as athletes, sports clubs, startups, companies, federations, sports organizations and public authorities.
