Océane Pasteur – Rendez-vous
Anchors are fundamental elements in the construction of identity, so Rendez-vous is one of them.
There is origin and nationality, and this year I had a rendezvous with both. Although they are very different, they both make up my identity. Twenty-three years ago I was called Dang Thuy Thu Hang, twenty-two years ago I was called Océane Thu Hang Pasteur. Rendez-vous is about a journey, mine and theirs. To do this, I decided to set out to find my origins and, at the same time, retrace the paths taken by my parents. By reconstructing the key elements of this union, through archives and time, I sought to understand and weave the links between these multiple heritages.
